I needed a new wallpaper, and I thought rendering a Minecraft build would be cool, so I grabbed a well-known Hogwarts build, and exported it as an obj using a program called "Mineways".
I then imported the obj into Cinema4D and applied the object texture. The texture had the default Minecraft water texture for the lake, which I thought would be quite ugly in a render, so I tried to apply the default OctaneRender water material, however, it didn't work "out-of-the-box", so I just grabbed a different material and applied to to the water. I had to fiddle with the settings a bit so that it didn't look so tessellated and looked more natural. I also fiddled with the lighting and HDRI to make the scene look as natural as possible.
I then rendered the image using the OctaneRender plugin.
